Terentino to do next Star Trek Movie Maybe.

Quentin Tarentino might do the next Star Trek movie. It's rumored that he would base it - loosely - on an episode of TOS. Any ideas which episode might make a great feature film? (And sorry, Khan has been done, let's please not go back there!)
I'm thinking 'Balance of Terror', or 'Amok Time' or maybe we could even have trouble with tribbles ;-)
Would he dare re-do 'The City on the Edge of Forever'?

Hard to guess. I will say it cannot have anything to do with exploration, because in the reimagined show, Starfleet doesn't do that.

I don't believe Quentin Tarentino will, or would ever, do a Trek movie. But, if he did do one based off a TOS episode, the only possible choice for him and his style would be a violent gritty version of "A Piece of the Action".

Quentin Tarantino could helm the next Star Trek film, according to sources who spoke to Deadline. Tarantino has shared his pitch on the long-running sci-fi franchise with producer J.J. Abrams, reports The Hollywood Reporter. The two plan to convene a writers room to develop the film at Paramount, with Tarantino in the director's chair.
Does that mean we're about to get a R-rated Star Trek scored by Wu Tang Clan's RZA? That's doubtful, considering the nature of the series. No, that article is pure speculation from some unnamed source. Even if the article is true, which I doubt, then there is still only a possibility that he may do it.
